Emmaus Launches YouEarnedIt Employee Engagement Platform

Emmaus, a local non-profit providing around-the-clock services to adults with developmental disabilities, has launched its first-ever digital, employee engagement platform to motivate and connect its outstanding employees. Powered by YouEarnedIt, Emmaus’ engagement program rewards its employees on a consistent basis for their hard work and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.

YouEarnedIt allows employees to recognize one another for their good work. The recognition points are redeemable for a variety of rewards, including leadership courses, gift cards to local businesses, Emmaus gear and more.

In an industry that sees a 35 percent turnover rate, Emmaus hopes that implementing YouEarnedIt will instill a consistent atmosphere of positivity into its company culture, as well as a genuine reassurance that Emmaus’ work is both meaningful and important.

“By launching YouEarnedIt, we hope to show our current and potential employees that we are a company that truly cares about its employees,” said Stacy Olson, Chief Human Resources Officer at Emmaus. “We understand that this kind of work takes a huge amount of personal investment, and that it’s important to emphasize our own investment in these employees as members of the Emmaus family.”

Emmaus’ program also aims to unify the company’s diverse range of employees within its corporate and satellite offices, as well as the many employees who work directly in-home with clients across the metropolitan area. All levels and types of employees will have the same “giving power,” creating a sense of equality and engagement within a company of over 700 employees.
