LEADD

LEADD (Learning Experiences for Adults with Developmental Disabilities) is a cooperative effort by Emmaus and St. Charles Community College's Continuing Education Department. The program provides non-credit continuing education opportunities to individuals with developmental disabilities living in the St. Charles County area. Sessions are designed to teach independent living skills and provide life-enhancing experiences in a community educational and social environment.

LEADD classes are open to individuals at least 16 years of age, and enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A $15 fee covers all classes taken during a semester period. All LEADD classes meet in the Humanities Building at St. Charles Community College in Cottleville, Mo.

All students who attend 4 out of the 5 class periods will receive a Certificate of Completion, which is awarded at the graduation ceremony on the last day of classes.

LEADD is supported by the Developmental Disabilities Resource Board of St. Charles County (DDRB).
