At Emmaus, an individual's spiritual journey is an important part of their journey to fulfillment and independence. As a mission of the United Church of Christ's Council for Health & Human Service Ministries (CHHSM), Emmaus takes pride in our faith-based heritage and strives to help each of our residents participate in the faith community of their choice. To help guide and encourage our residents of all beliefs in their spiritual pursuits, Emmaus employs two full-time ordained chaplains who provide a variety of services to residents, family members and staff, including:

• Worship services
• Special services for holidays, memorials or weddings
• Home and hospital visitation
• Bible studies
• Prayer services
• Pastoral counseling
• Assistance with connecting to local faith communities
• Assistance with client support plans

In addition, Emmaus' chaplains are ambassadors of the Emmaus mission, visiting area churches, attending the United Church of Christ's state and national association meetings and hosting volunteer groups and tours to the Emmaus campuses.
